John found an old engraving of this Citadel, and his muse told him that it would
be his very first challenge in Pen & Ink. It is quite large, and very detailed.

it's influence on it's French neighbourhood. Art was done from an old engraving in a French Gazeteer.

Ink from Artist's photos looking North towards Quebec. The E.B. Eddy sign with the swans was still erected and the large Church
in the back ground burned down that summer. The new Museum of Man now sits across the Ottawa River.When John Cullen was a
boy, they used to yell up into the tunnel that was formed by these CNR Tracks upon returning home from Hull Que.

comemoration gift to the retiring Director. The artist's sister Maureen Leeson was Administrator there for many years.

Streets 1993" The artist created a "Drop-In Centre" for the homeless and for low income people in the neighbourhood. He arranged
for Betty Bakery to deliver fresh loaves of brea daily along with many food supplies from National Grocers. This art is still
being used for the Church's Programs.

"2000 St.John Anglican Church Prescott Ontario. Not for
Sale, This was created as a commemoration gift for the retiring Minister Gerry Rice.
Retiring Reverend Gerry Rice receiving Pen & Ink of
St. John's Church from John Cullen, Artist. This took place on Rev. Rice's last Mass performed Sept 11th, 2001. He officiated
also at John Cullen's wife Alice' funeral that same year. Reverend Rice passed away 3 years later.
